This page describes the vehicle selector and fitment enquiry service on this website.

Registration lookup

When you enter a UK registration, our server sends it to the government DVSA vehicle service, with the DVLA vehicle service available as a fallback, to identify the vehicle. The result helps you start a fitment enquiry; it does not confirm that a particular part fits.

Our private lookup cache keeps a protected reference to the registration and a limited vehicle result. Cached results are reused for up to 24 hours. It does not store the registration itself, the VIN or the full MOT history. Unlinked vehicle snapshots expire after seven days and are removed during routine cleanup; a snapshot linked to an enquiry is kept with that enquiry so the team can understand its source.

Vehicle details in your browser

When you save a vehicle, its registration where entered, make, model, year, any model badge, body style and trim you select, and lookup reference are kept in your browser’s session storage so that your selection can be reused while browsing. You can clear or change that selection using the vehicle button. Saved upgrade ideas, comparisons and your basket are also kept in session storage for this visit. This selection does not establish product compatibility.

Fitment enquiries

The enquiry form collects your name, email address, optional phone number, vehicle details, upgrade interest and message. Your selected model badge, body style and trim are included when the request uses that saved vehicle. These details are your selections, separately from the registration result. A build request also includes the selected upgrade ranges, quantities and original-equipment details you choose. These details are stored so the team can review and respond to your enquiry. An on-screen reference identifies your saved request.

Operational information

The service uses limited request information for security and rate limiting. Hosting access logs may contain network and browser information. Please do not enter card numbers, passwords or other sensitive information into an enquiry.

Car photo previews

Standard model photographs are prepared from fixed vehicle descriptions and may be reused as shared library views. These library images contain no customer upload or registration. Your uploaded photographs and edited results never enter the shared model library.

Model-photo copies and product previews belonging to your session are private, expire within 24 hours and can be deleted. Deleting your model-photo copy does not remove the reusable library view. The library represents the selected vehicle model. Confirm your own car’s exact specification and product fitment before ordering.

The optional visualiser sends your uploaded photo and the selected product image to OpenAI for image processing. Upload a photo with the area you want to change clearly visible, and avoid including people or sensitive information. Compatibility, dimensions and safe installation require separate confirmation.

We strip image metadata before processing. Uploaded server originals are removed when their job finishes or fails. Results are private to your preview session, expire within 24 hours, and can be deleted individually. A secure session cookie and a security token protect access to the previews. Your photo and thumbnail gallery stay in this tab’s memory and are not saved with your store vehicle, saved upgrades or build. Leaving or reloading the page clears the visible gallery; server results still expire on schedule.

The image provider processes the submitted images under its own service and privacy terms. Deleting a result here removes our stored copy; it does not assert deletion of provider-held data. See OpenAI’s privacy policy.
