Small details.
The right version.
A grille, mirror cover or bumper detail should work with the car’s shape and equipment. Begin with the part fitted now, then choose the finish.

The badge is only the beginning.
Generation, body, production phase and bumper specification narrow the choice. Keep the relevant original equipment with those details.
- Grilles
- Show the full front bumper and the existing grille. Identify cameras, sensors, badges and other equipment around the grille, then confirm the openings and mountings required.
- Mirror covers
- Show the complete mirror housing and any indicator, camera or assistance equipment. Confirm the side, shape and replacement or overlay fitting method.
- Bumper & exhaust details
- Show the original trim and surrounding openings. Confirm whether the chosen part replaces a section or fits over it, and which body or bumper version is required.
Choose beyond the surface.
A gloss-black or carbon-style appearance describes the look. Keep the selected material, dimensions, contents and fitting method in writing.
- Material & finish
- Ask how the selected version is constructed and finished. An image alone does not establish the material or whether further preparation is needed.
- Single part, pair or set
- Confirm the side and number of pieces, and any separate surrounds, badges, brackets or fixings. Compare prices on the same basis.
- The fitting method
- Establish which original pieces are retained or removed, how the new part mounts and which fitting materials are supplied.
Keep the original functions in view.
Ask an experienced installer to review the selected version against the actual car before original parts are removed or altered.
- Equipment & clearances
- Confirm the position and operation of the existing equipment around the part. Do not assume a different grille or cover retains every original function.
- Previous changes
- Record any replacement bumper, mirror, exhaust or earlier modification. The equipment fitted now matters alongside the original vehicle details.
- Final scope
- Agree the exact part, supplied contents, installation work and final total together before an order.
Show the detail and what surrounds it.
Keep one wider view of the relevant end or side, one close view of the original part and one view of its equipment or openings. Include the generation, body and trim details you know.
Before you choose.
The generation is listed. Is that enough?
The generation narrows the search. Production phase, body, bumper and equipment can still determine the required version.
Will an AMG Line or M Sport part fit a standard bumper?
Confirm the actual bumper and mounting shape rather than relying on a trim badge. Keep photos of the bumper fitted now with your request.
Are carbon-style parts made from carbon fibre?
A finish name does not establish construction. Ask for the written material specification of the exact version.
Can a similar-looking mirror cover be used?
Confirm the housing shape, side and any original equipment or openings. A similar appearance is not a physical fitting check.
Keep the part and
the car together.
Save the option you like, add the details you know and send your basket for a fitment and availability check before an order.
